The Immigration and Asylum Act 1999 has led to increasing costs for taxpayers, with millions spent housing illegal immigrants in hotels. This is unsustainable and unfair at a time when many UK citizens face rising living costs and stretched public services.

We call on the government to repeal or reform this outdated Act, replacing hotel use with more cost-effective accommodation, and ensuring that resources are directed first to supporting our citizens and communities.
