Remember the recent horrific Ahmedabad plane crash? More than everything, we were concerned-and shared pics of- family planning to move to London and their cute, 3 children.

Their death was tragic but some individual CANNOT be directly held responsible for their loss of precious lives.

But this is not the case in a place called Gaza (Palestine). 

17,000 AND MORE children have been killed in Gaza. And this hasn't stopped yet. Unlike plane crash, they HAVE SOMEONE DIRECTLY RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR DEATHS, AGONY,LOSS,HUNGER,DISPLACEMENT. That is Netanyahu + Trump governments.

 

Won't we Indians speak now, simply coz those children aren't indian?

But their pain is no different.

They have been

1. Killed
2. Displaced
3. Malnutritioned
4. Forced to stand in lines for food
5. Shot with bullets in those queues.

 

Is their pain lesser ? NO. They, too, are children of the world.

 

On 2nd July 2025, I filed an RTI (Right to Information) application to the Prime Minister’s Office and the Ministry of External Affairs (now transferred to MEA as RTI No: MOEAF/R/T/25/00687), asking what steps India has taken to assist Gaza’s civilians — especially its children.

 

As a nation that aspires to be a Vishwa Guru, India cannot remain silent or neutral when children are being killed, starved, and bombed.

 

The RTI seeks clarity on:

✅ What humanitarian aid India has sent to Gaza (type, quantity, value)

✅ Whether India raised this suffering in any international forum

✅ If aid has reached Gaza or was blocked

✅ Whether India will review its UN vote abstentions amid rising allegations of war crimes

✅ What concrete steps will be taken for Gaza’s children and survivors

 

This petition is a call to conscience:

We urge the Government of India to act in accordance with our values — of peace, justice, and humanity. Let our silence not be complicity.

India has historically always supported the two state solution for Palestine and Israel. Israel required a home "state" after Hitler's genocide and that is completely understandable, valid, approved by the world and is currently in place.

 

But today I am writing not for the "State of Palestine" because of the urgency with which I am to write this and demand your signatures. 

Demanding a State of Palestine at this hour when Palestinians (or better, humans) are killed at close range when gathered for food, is a PRIVILEGE, which It shouldn't have been, but it IS.

So currently I only ask you to support me in asking our government to take all direct and indirect measures to currently stop the Gaza genocide on its population comprising of mainly children.

India currently doesn't need to be "Vishwa Guru" but to be a nation of the world's biggest population standing up for another human population. India also need not be DIPLOMATIC and look forward to its own interests because of the carnage and massacre and genocide being inflicted upon poor children somewhere else in the Globe.

 

A week ago, 2 British doctors-shared video documentary evidence played on Sky News showing (and actually documenting what is going on in Gaza)

The relative of a child victim who's father and pregnant mother are dead, in the video asks a true but disturbing question we as world citizens aren't used to, but HAVE TO encounter: "How much more to happen before the world speaks? What wrong did the children do so as to suffer punishment at this scale? Does the people need more evidence of genocide before actually speaking up against this cruelty?"

 

And honestly, I had no answer to that so I started this petition. If you too don't, sign it.

 

Ask the Indian government to show effect of its diplomatic and moral power (if any) at the global stage. 

The Palestinian question can be asked later on, but first we as humans have to make sure Palestinians survive first.

 

The recent abstain of Indian Government in UNGA against Israel really shows "a disturbing departure from India's moral and diplomatic traditions" as pointed out by Sonia Gandhi. But again, you need not be a Congress person to agree with the petition, you can even be or not be a BJP person to sign this.

Kindly ask the Indian government to speak against these atrocities by Israel and America. If any, the Indian government should pause any direct or indirect military cooperation with Israel till it does not stop the genocide.

Please rise above Hindu / Muslim/caste/political party bias for the purpose of this petition. The genocide will stop one day anyhow (though I fear how many Palestinians will be alive to see that).This petition is for making sure we can tell the globe we acted and asked our government to stop his offensive.
