Dear Supporters

The New South Wales Minister with responsibility for rodeos has promised to review animal protection laws this year.  We must let her know how strongly the community opposes rodeos, so that the review will lead to phasing out these horrible events.  

This petition is one way of making your voice heard in support of rodeo animals.  We now have 8,859 signatures.  That's a lot, but is it enough to make the politicians listen?  

I plan to send this petition to the Minister, the Hon. Tara Moriarty MLC, as soon as public consultations begin on the new animal protection legislation.  That means we have a month or two to really grow the numbers and ensure the Minister and the NSW Government get the message loud and clear:

NO MORE EXEMPTIONS FROM ANIMAL CRUELTY LAWS FOR RODEOS!
