Commons and Lords set to END #PeriodPoverty alongside herooo @PaulaSherriff #HomelessPeriod

Hello all 68,007 of you amazing people!! Something AMAZING has happened recently - the House of Lords and the House of Commons have made history by BOTH discussing practical ways of ending period poverty. They're discussing sanitary problems on an increasingly regular basis and that kicks ass! Paula Sherriff MP pushed this trend one step further yesterday when she dedicated an entire debate to women, sanitary products and period poverty: https://hansard.parliament.uk/commons/2017-03-30/debates/DAADA2FE-C533-4674-8137-104621BA79A1/SanitaryProducts. She mentioned the impact of our campaign and spoke about another really important problem that has dominated the news recently: schoolgirls in Leeds cannot afford sanitary products and so have been using unsanitary alternatives instead....
