We made it onto @Channel4News last night!!! #HomelessPeriod #EndPeriodPoverty

Hello all 66,614 of you!!! HUGE news: we made it onto the Channel 4 News last night! AMAZING! Thanks to all of your hard work, this mainstream news programme highlighted the struggles that women particularly face when homeless and on their period. That’s pretty amazing! By doing so, Channel 4 openly challenged both the period-taboo and period poverty that holds women back across the country. YES! But wait, there’s more… Channel 4 also gave their support to our Homeless Period campaign, which they described as a ‘solution’ to a serious problem that ‘has not properly been talked about until recently’, and that problem is period poverty. Which we will smash. Period. Have a fantastic Christmas and enjoy some well-deserved rest period poverty army!! Laura x
