The Issue

Our children at Rasekhuta Primary School in Thorp Village, Limpopo have been neglected by educators since the 8th of April 2026. This abandonment has left learners without the essential guidance they need, compromising their fundamental right to education.

Education is a basic human right and the foundation of a better future for all. The lack of proper educational support at Rasekhuta Primary undermines the potential of these young learners, leaving them in jeopardy of losing valuable educational time that is critical for their development and future success.

This negligence is unacceptable and we, as a community, must take immediate action. It's heart-wrenching to see the potential of so many young minds being wasted and the dreams of our children being extinguished because of the neglect by those entrusted with their education.

We call upon the Department of Basic Education and local government officials to intervene urgently to address this issue. We demand accountability and assurance that our learners will receive the guidance, resources, and attention they need to thrive.

Join us in urging the necessary authorities to take swift action and ensure that educators fulfill their duty to educate and nurture. Sign this petition to stand with us in protecting the educational rights of every child at Rasekhuta Primary School. Your signature can make a difference in securing the future of these learners. Let's reclaim their right to quality education today.

Our children at Rasekhuta Primary School in Thorp Village are currently out of right to learn. They left stranded at their home and department of education is doing absolutely nothing to assis the learners to study.
