Mr. Jason Whitely, a reporter with WFAA TV in Dallas, conducted a Skype interview with me yesterday. He does an excellent job of covering the lunch shaming issue in Texas schools. I LOVE that he actually called and then calls out several school districts by name; I can't wish to hear the responses from those districts that practice lunch shaming. Texas HB 2159 which seeks to end lunch shaming in Texas goes to public hearing TOMORROW! More media attention is needed, Texas politicians need to know that this has to end, NOW!
