Apparently Northside ISD will continue to provide breakfast and lunch meals at select schools during this spring break. I should point out that someone on Facebook stated that NISD is NOT an economically disadvantaged area, I don't live there and cannot say one way or another. It does however, seem that someone saw a need and made this decision based on that need. Hunger and poverty do not necessarily go away when schools are on break. If you know anything about me then you know that I am all about ensuring kids are fed. Two thumbs up Northside ISD! #NoSchoolMealsDenied EVER!
