The ball is in the Texas legislator's court!

Once I receive a reply from the legislator who has expressed support for this amendment I will post a more substantial update. Again, the 85th Texas Legislature will not meet until January 2017, until then the best we can do is amass as many Texas-based signatures as possible although ALL signatures are welcome since this issue also needs to be addressed at the national level.
