Denial of food as a punishment?

Food is one of our most basic needs and denial of food WILL affect a student's behavior! In the attached story the denial/delay of a student's lunch meal may have directly contributed to a student's agitation, behavior problems, restraint and eventual death! Does anyone truly believe that taking a tray of food away from a hungry student is going to produce ANY favorable outcomes? Sign, share, comment, we can do better in Texas and nationwide.
