Today's developments . . . I've e-mailed petition links to Texas Senator Troy Fraser, Texas Representative J.D. Sheffield and my State Board of Education representative Mrs. Sue Melton-Malone. I've also e-mailed a copy to Texas Rep. Senfronia Thompson, the representative who drafted the original H.B. 3562 that I am seeking to amend. Unless they share their comments directly to this site I'll be sharing any responses that I receive from them. By the way, fellow Texas residents, if you've supported this petition then I ask you to consider taking your support a step further by sending a link to your state legislative representatives. If necessary you can find out who represents you by typing your address in the "Who Represents Me?" box on the following page. Also consider sending a link to your State Board of Education Representative (SBOE) who can be located on the same webpage. This is an election year, it's a great time to make things happen!
