This week animal lovers around the world will be celebrating World Animal Day, but in Townsville the cruelty continues with two ships scheduled to load cattle for export, the Dareen on Monday and the Girolando Express on Wednesday. October 4 is the feast day of St Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals and each year animal lovers everywhere mobilise, on or around that date, into a global force to take action to make the world a better place for all animals. Please help to end the cruel live export trade by sending the PM a message https://www.pm.gov.au/contact-your-pm tomorrow Monday 2 October 2023, the first Monday of the month, asking him to end ALL live animal exports. TALE Inc will be holding a market stall at the Strand Night Markets on Friday to mark World Animal Day. https://www.worldanimalday.org.uk/events/great-or-small-love-them-all-market-stall-to-end-the-cruelty-of-live-export-for-all-animals/ Photo shows two of the animals shipped to Vietnam for slaughter last month onboard the Brahman Express.
