The Jawan left Townsville early on 12/02/23 for Indonesia its eight decks (five open upper and three enclosed below) loaded with young cattle who will be fattened in feedlots before being killed. A second ship, the Brahman Express left on 28/02/23, also for Indonesia. The government is considering ending live sheep exports,  but ALL animals, including the thousands of cattle exported from Townsville, suffer when exported live for slaughter offshore.  Please message the PM on the first Monday of the month, Monday 6 March asking him to set a date to end ALL live animal exports https://www.pm.gov.au/contact-your-pm  You could also email Murray Watt minister.watt@agriculture.gov.au  Please take a moment to help the animals.
