By signing this petition we will help to end late term abortion In Michigan. Late term abortion means aborting a baby after 21 weeks or the 2nd trimester. Babies at this age in the womb can feel pain, they are developing limbs, they can do sommersaults, can hear their mothers voice, and their facial features are starting to develop. If things in our state stay the same we will lose thousands of lives, lives of people who's lives are valued and important and deserve to have life. Annually we have lost more than 500 late term babies in Michigan alone. Late Term abortions are real and happen everyday in our country. As a country we deserve Life, Liberty, and Property, late term abortion is depriving others of life, we should be fighting for these rights not making deprivation of them normal. It has been proven that there is no point, no medical necessity, for women to have an abortion that late in pregnancy.
