For example, a small cat would be charged the same amount as a large dog, even though the amenities are not used by cats. This practice is unfair and burdensome for responsible pet owners who already provide deposits to cover potential damages.

In London, many landlords impose additional rent charges on tenants with pets despite existing deposits meant to cover any damages caused by animals. These charges can be exorbitant and do not take into account the actual impact or behavior of different types of pets.
