It’s time for horse labor to come to an end. Horses deserve to be free and should not be selected from their families to run, carry, or work for our entertainment. They already work incredibly hard in competitions and races, and I understand that those activities are part of how some people interact with horses. But being made to walk, carry people, or pull carriages for hours a day is a lot.

Even with the resources and care provided to these horses, I still believe it is wrong to make them work for our convenience and entertainment. We use horses for competitions, transportation, and recreation, but as humans, we are capable of finding other ways to enjoy ourselves without relying on animals

There are so many better ways we could use our time and resources, including using horses to help people through therapy and healing rather than simply using them for entertainment. At the end of the day, using animals because it looks beautiful, luxurious, or aesthetically pleasing is not a good enough reason to make them work. Horses deserve to be free, safe, and able to live their lives without being used for our own entertainment.
