Please join the Nonhuman Rights Project for an evening of hope for Happy.
Imagine Happy, released to a sanctuary where her right to liberty is respected. Imagine her, for the first time in more than four decades, living in a natural habitat similar to the one she was taken from. In a sanctuary, Happy will have the freedom to choose how she spends her time and with whom—instead of being imprisoned alone in a tiny, barren exhibit at the Bronx Zoo that cannot meet her physical, emotional, and social needs.
A free life—an elephant life—is what the NhRP is working tirelessly to give back to Happy.
With hope for a world where we respect and protect the right to liberty of all elephants, the NhRP cordially invites you to our #FreeHappy virtual event. Please join us for this at-home experience on Wednesday, November 18th at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET as we tell Happy’s story, discuss our fight for her freedom, and let you know how you can continue to help us secure her release to a sanctuary.
