The constant fear of becoming another name in a growing list of victims of mass shootings is a shadow that looms over all of us. Sadly, in the United States, there have been more mass shootings than days in the year. This unacceptable situation demands immediate action.

Gun violence in America is a public health crisis that poses an imminent threat to every community, from the largest cities to the smallest towns. It requires swift and effective legislative measures. Restrictive gun laws are not just a political talking point; they are a necessary step towards ensuring the safety and security of everyone.
