End Government Funding for Pagan, Profane, and Sacrilegious Statues

End Government Funding for Pagan, Profane, and Sacrilegious Statues
The Issue
As a lifelong traveler across our great nation, I have witnessed firsthand the resurgence of pagan idols in public spaces. Statues like Vulcan god of Iron in Birmingham, Isis in Iowa, and Athena in Tennessee stand as stark reminders of this trend. Such symbols not only contradict our nation's monotheistic values but are also funded by taxpayer money. This is an alarming reality that we must address.
There are such countless statues scattered across the United States - all maintained, displayed or even built with public funds. This is not just a matter of personal belief; it's about how our tax dollars are being spent on projects that many find offensive or contrary to their faith.
It is estimated that millions of dollars are funneled into these projects each year (source: National Endowment for the Arts). Yet at the same time, there are pressing issues like homelessness and education which could benefit greatly from this funding.
We propose two solutions to this issue. Ideally, these statues should be repurposed into practical items such as manhole covers - turning them from objects of worship to tools for public service. At the very least though, we demand an immediate cessation of all government funding towards these statues.
This petition calls upon lawmakers to respect taxpayers' beliefs and ensure their money is used responsibly and ethically. It's time we return our focus to serving people rather than maintaining idols.
Please sign this petition if you believe no taxpayer money should go towards maintaining or displaying pagan idols - let us return to honoring the one true God alone.
