Having seen the pain and suffering of children in Haiti, where many went hungry and some even died from lack of food, my heart aches when I see similar circumstances unfolding in Gaza. The people of Gaza, especially the children, have been going through terrible hardships as a result of the famine and food shortages. This situation requires immediate attention and intervention.

Almost 2 million people live in Gaza, with approximately half of its population comprising children caught in the middle of this misery. This conflict has destroyed the local economy and infrastructure, obstructed services needed for survival, culminating in grievous scenarios where families cannot find a meal to eat. According to figures from agencies like UNICEF and UNRWA, over 70 percent of Gazans are food insecure; children are being malnourished at scary rates.

The time for action has arrived; this is not just a statistic. The children of Gaza can and should do better-they should have a chance to live free from hunger and despair; without any conflicts. We should, therefore, stand up in support of humanitarian organizations that strive to provide food and medical aid to the needy in Gaza. We need to support Organizations like NGOS, "nonprofit agencies set up by citizens" ( How Politics Works) pg.102, so all of gaza can be free from the famine.
