A HUGE THANK YOU TO ALL THE SUPPORTERS THAT HAVE ENGAGED IN MY PETITION!!!

A little about me:

I am a CNA in my professional life and I give every moment I can.
When I get home each day I come back home to 3 wonderful babies!!! They are big babies but they are my babies!! They have 4 paws and fur.
This journey started with my 1st child (dog). I call them my children because they truly are just that. They are also ESA certified. But let’s get back on topic. It started with my first, I had finally came into adulthood and got my very first apartment. My contract stated I could not have animals so I went against that. Irresponsible yes I know. I got this puppy and  now how am I suppose to take care of her not being able to have her and all. I put this little girl in my jacket several times a day to sneak her outside to use the potty. This could only go on for so long right? Eventually she’s gonna get big enough to where I can not hide her anymore. So with that being said I put her first! I chose her and put her in this situation, not the other way around. I got responsible very quickly!! I started apartment hunting faster than you can believe. It’s crazy to think how many places don’t want you having animals!!! So many turned down applications!!! Was I suppose to give up and just say the heck with it and just get rid of her? NO!!! That was never a option or an idea!!! She was now my responsibility and it was my job to protect her. (Side Note) if I wouldn’t have taken her she would have wound up somewhere god awful!! So I continued looking and then I found something. A nice house in the country, bigger place and cheaper payments rented out by a animal lover themselves. An absolute godsend I swear!! So I packed up and moved to my current location where I have been the last 5-6 years. Maybe a year or two after being here I decided to take a higher paying job and decided it was time to get our daughter a sister. At first we looked at puppies and then did a complete turn around and decided adopting would be best. I know if we would have gotten a puppy it would have been loved too but the chances of an older dog being adopted from the pound is slim to none  and everyone wants a puppy. So we adopted a   4-6 year old boxer mix from the pound in town that had been surrendered by its previous owner's. This dog belonged to us already !!! After seeing her just for a second!! They brought us in the to meet and greet room to do introductions and there we sat waiting on them to bring her and when they opened that door she came running towards us hopping and smiling. And when I say smiling I literally mean it!! I have never had a dog that smiles like a human!! She is filled with so much love and joy. She greeted us and peed with excitement and had us hooked. Out of all the dogs there she was the quietest and saddest looking !! It broke my entire heart to see all them dogs and not be able to bring them all with me. We started signing papers and the staff had notified us that they’d have to spay her before letting her leave. However that was not in her cards, for that day Atleast. I told them that I didn’t want to wait any longer because she did not need to caged up like that. There was no way I was letting her be isolated like that a second longer!! They said she was good with other animals so I took their word for it and took our 2nd child home which was now the oldest . We got home and introduced daughter 1 to daughter 2. Daughter 1 cowered as daughter 2 was aggressive and barking and trying to eat her. Aka not friendly with other animals so much. So here we are , predicament #2. Irresponsible, yes. I should have done a meet and greet with the dogs but i did not. So here we are faced with a decision to make. Do we take her back to the pound or do we work with her and hope she comes around and they warm up to each other? If you guessed the second option then you are correct!!! Why you ask? Because she did not ask for me to sign them papers and she definitely didn’t ask to be in that dog pound. She was now my responsibility because I chose her. So each day we worked with her a little bit at a time. Eventually she came around and now they are two peas in a pod. We did not give up on her no matter what!! (Side note) If I would have done the meet and greet with the dogs and that would of happened I don’t know what would of happened or if I would have taken her so everything happens for a reason and I’m happy I took that chance. So your probably thinking is he ever gonna stop typing and the answer is yes. But right after this last part. So a couple years later my boss at the time ended up having a dog that had puppies and needed to find homes for them . Things were good and we were financially comfortable so of course here I am with puppy fever I agreed to take one. However, this one was not a joint decision at first lol. This was kinda like a surprise I brought another dog home situation to my husband I was working and I had gotten off at midnight and told my fiancé at the time we had to go somewhere and get there fast. So I drove an hour to get home and then drove an hour getting to my bosses house. We got there and they did the introductions and I still wanted her so my husband and I discussed the responsibilities of such decision since it’d make #3. Both parties agreed. So we got child #3 now and it’s pushing 3am. It was time to drive back home and introduce our little baby to her big sisters. Meanwhile I was scared just because of the situation that had happened on the first rounds of introductions of children 1 and 2. Got her home and daughter 1 was very much into her. Sniffing her nudging her and loving every bit of her. Child #2 growled a little bit but that quickly stopped when child #3 started to nurse off of #2. They quickly bonded and #2 ended up going into false pregnancy mode!!! She was lactating and producing the milk needed for baby #3. I had never in my life seen something like this !! I was in complete shock. Shortly after getting her I jumped into a new profession which is my current as a CNA. 4 years later here we are one big happy fur family. I have more animals in my house than I do actual humans and every night I have enough room to lay on my side wether that be on the bed or couch. They take up every inch of room imaginable!!! And they are complete blanket hogs as well. There is 0% privacy in my house. Anytime I’m in the bathroom or getting a shower there they are. Either sitting between my legs while I’m on the toilet or laying on the rug in front of the tub waiting on me to get out of the bath/shower. That is my story on my animal love and life and that is why I’m pushing this petition!!!
Thank you for supporting the petition and my cause and Thank you all for sticking around to read this long email!!!
