I am deeply affected by the ongoing miseducation and numerous cetacean deaths at Dolphin Quest in Honolulu, HI. I’ve been around a marine mammal park off and on for my entire life. Being from Waimanalo I’ve been exposed to Sea Life Park and just as that establishment continues to exploit these intelligent creatures for profit, disregarding their welfare and promoting misinformation about their natural behaviors. So does Dolphinquest at every global location. 

Dolphin Quest continues to have dolphin births in captivity when the conditions are beyond cruel and inhumane. 

Dolphins are highly social animals that thrive in large groups with vast ocean territories. In captivity, they are often isolated or kept in incompatible groups within confined spaces. This leads to stress-related diseases and premature death. According to Whale and Dolphin Conservation (WDC), a leading global charity dedicated to the conservation of whales and dolphins, over 5,000 cetaceans have died prematurely in captivity since the 1950s.

Moreover, allowing the public to swim with dolphins for what ever reason is a misrepresent these majestic creatures' lives by promoting unnatural behaviors as entertainment. The Humane Society states that such practices can lead to public misunderstanding about dolphins' true nature and needs.

It's time we put an end to this cruel practice of keeping dolphins captive for any  purposes at Dolphin Quest. We must demand better treatment for these sentient beings who deserve a life free from exploitation.

Please sign this petition urging authorities in Honolulu, HI to shut down Dolphin Quest due its neglectful practices towards cetaceans.
