Good Tuesday morning: It has just come to my attention that the impact of the new twelve-hour tethering ordinance will be reported by the Director of Nassau County Animal Services, Tim Maguire at the Board on Commissioners meeting this Monday, August 28th at 6 PM in the conference room at 96315 Nassau Place, Yulee, FL 32097. This public meeting is an opportunity for the general public to ask commissioners to move forward and adopt an ordinance that completely prohibits unattended tethering. Everyone has three minutes to address the board and express their views. Please show your support for the attended tethering only ordinance and come to the meeting. Please forward this notice to those who are interested in supporting animal welfare. Traditionally, supporters have worn a red shirt/blouse/dress/tie to show their solidarity.
