Growing up, I faced bullying every day at school. I was always crying on  my  way to school ,wondering if it would ever end.  Getting bullied daily by different bullies at school made me to start feeling worthless.It made me to have suicidal thoughts. What should have been a place of learning and growth turned into a daily struggle for safety and respect. This isn't just my story; it's the reality for countless students today who face verbal abuse, physical altercations, and cyber bullying, making school a source of fear rather than a haven for education.

The statistics are alarming. According to a 2021 report by the National Bullying Prevention Center, approximately 20% of students aged 12-18 experience bullying nationwide. This pervasive issue not only affects the mental health of victims, leading to anxiety, depression, and a decline in academic performance, but it also fosters a toxic school culture that permits such behaviors to flourish unchecked.

We need to act now to create bully-free schools and ensure every child feels safe and supported in their educational journey. I urge school administrators, teachers, policymakers, and parents to unite in implementing more comprehensive anti-bullying programs, stricter enforcement of existing policies, and improved support systems for both victims and perpetrators of bullying. Schools should regularly conduct workshops and seminars to educate students and staff about the impact of bullying and strategies for prevention.

Encouraging a culture of empathy and inclusivity starts with us. We must ensure that all students are given the opportunity to learn and grow without the shadow of bullying looming over their daily lives. It's time to take decisive action to change the narrative and protect the future of our children.
