After an 11-hour meeting between Premier Dwight Ball, the Innu Nation, the Nunatsiavut Government and the NunatuKavut Community Council, an agreement was reached that satisfied the demands of the hunger strikers. Billy, Delilah, and Jeremias celebrated in Ottawa, and broke their long fast on a meal of smoked char alongside Labrador MP Yvonne Jones. This is a happy day! Real change has been made in our world.
