I have had the love of animals for as long as I can remember and having a world where animals are hurt on purpose just SUCKS. For years, I've been haunted by the reality that behind closed doors and away from public eyes, countless animals are suffering immensely in laboratories around the world. Mice, rabbits, dogs, cats, and many other creatures are subjected to painful procedures and then often discarded, as if their lives hold no value. It's heartbreaking to think that we, who claim to be the stewards of this earth, inflict such cruelty on the very beings we share it with. Many company's still use animal testing such as Maybelline, MAC, Armani Beauty, Benefit, NARS, Revlon, Bic, Gillette, Head & Shoulders, Axe, and Aquafresh. 

Animal testing is an outdated and unnecessary practice that should have been eradicated long ago. According to the Humane Society International, an estimated 115 million animals are used in experiments worldwide each year. This staggering number is unacceptable, especially given the advancements in science that offer alternative testing methods. Technologies such as in vitro testing, computer modeling, and human-patient simulators are not only more humane but also often provide more reliable and relevant results for humans.

Beyond the moral implications, animal testing is often not predictive of human reactions. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) reports that more than 95% of drugs that pass animal tests fail in humans. This ineffective and inhumane practice is not only cruel but also a major obstacle to scientific progress. Why continue down a path that prolongs suffering and stymies innovation?

We urge governments, corporations, and laboratories globally to take immediate action: allocate funds for the development and implementation of alternative testing methods, enact and enforce stricter regulations to phase out animal testing, and raise public awareness about the cruelty and ineffectiveness of these practices.
