Every day brings a little heartbreak to those of us taking care of Saranda’s street dogs. They are joyful, innocent, and loving — but life has dealt them a cruel hand. 

The last two days in Saranda have been absolutely gut-wrenching: five dogs poisoned, two dead, the other three recovering. 

Saranda’s leaders have promised to find those who cruelly abused these innocents. Saranda’s leaders have promised to bring these heartless humans to justice.

We in Saranda are watching. So are many others all over the world. This video is a tribute to the dogs we’ve lost — and an indictment of those who commit and ignore heartless acts.
