On December 1st, the most important court case for the UK Animal Testing movement in decades will begin as the first 5 beagle rescuers face burglary charges for helping to rescue puppies from MBR Acres in 2022.

The stakes couldn't be higher. 10 years in prison are on the line, but a not-guilty verdict could shatter animal testing in the UK.

The rescuers will argue that their actions were lawful and do not amount to burglary because of their honest intention to rescue as many puppies as possible from the facility and save them from a life of torture in animal testing. A jury of 12 ordinary people will decide their fate.
