As many would already know - Anthony Albanese has announced a panel to create a map of the “Live Sheep Export, Phase Out”. The report will be out in September, but it won’t be implemented until “next term”, this means Labor would have to be voted in again for the Live Sheep Exports to be even “Phased Out”.
 I’m angry that this government is using smoke and mirrors to “bribe” us.

What can we do - The Agriculture dept have a page where you can “Have Your Say”. I urge everyone to please go to the link and make a submission, if you’re not sure what to do please contact me, I’m happy to guide you through it. A submission is a letter saying why YOU think Live Sheep Exports should end, it doesn’t have to be a long letter. Here is the link

* Jenny from Townsville recently contacted me to suggest we start sending monthly emails to the PM, Murray Watt and a few other influential MP’s to let them know they need to implement the Phase Out - THIS TERM. 

We started last Monday (sorry I didn’t update this last week). The 1st Monday of each month if you can send an email to the list I will supply (before next month). You can send the same email every month if that’s easier.
