So the NZ agriculture department have announced that their Live Animal Export will end in 2023, I’m not too sure about you but do I feel gullible? I emailed the NZ agriculture department years ago and heard nothing back, I had 1 simple question “does NZ send live Animals on Ships to other countries for Live Export?” SILLY ME, when they told me no, I was elated. I spoke of the standard NZ had set in the Live Animal Export industry by banning Live Exports at a Protest/Awareness Days, then a NZ lady Mel, told me that was a misdirection on their behalf. They sent animals on these ships, but they shipped under the banner of breeding...So I do not trust them, I’d love to think they have finally found what the meaning of truth is and are speaking truthfully, and not just for now.
I honestly do hope that  NZ is stating the absolute truth, god knows those animals (regardless of where they hail from) deserve a much better life.....and ending.

I have plenty of banners, etc for people to have on display. If you can please wear the brightest orange you have. If anyone wants a T shirt, Bags, Pens, Flags etc for the day...you need to order now, I have my daughters wedding this weekend so with that and organising the Melbourne trip I am not going to have a lot of spare time.                  There were some people who asked for shopping bags, my husband and I finally got to spray some, if you want any merchandise I have everything in stock.

Sydney, I’ve applied for the 19th of June. I hope we can get the same number as last time, you were all a beautiful, welcoming group who educated plenty of people about Live Animal Exports, the numbers on the Stop The Death Ships Fb page grew by over 120 people. People that had no idea are now strong advocates for ending Live Animal Export...xx

I’ve had a large number of people who phone just to have a chat about how bad things are with lae right now, it’s not that I disagree with you or mean to be rude but I just don’t have the time at the moment, sorry. Most of my time is spent sewing bags, writing letters, sending emails to politicians, stock men, farmers, arguing with farmers....updating the petitions and running the Stand Against Live Animal Exports -Orange Ribbons FB page that I just don’t always have time to respond or answer every call I get, Thanks for understanding xx 
Trying to organise a Protest/Awareness Days is big anyway but when it’s interstate there is so much more to it than booking a spot....xx
