My heart aches seeing animals ill-treated and neglected, especially during my visits to hot countries such as India and Turkey, where I have seen dogs and other animals endure extreme unkindness. As humans, it's time to shed our selfishness and show compassion to these innocent beings. Animals, who have coexisted with us since time immemorial, deserve the same rights and respect that humans receive.

Each year, millions of healthy and adoptable animals are euthanized around the world due to the lack of resources to accommodate them (The Humane Society, 2018). Moreover, countless animals are victims of physical abuse. This persistent mistreatment deeply impacts animal welfare and reflects poorly on human society.

This inhumane cycle needs to end NOW. We must rise to protect those who cannot protect themselves, to speak for those with no voice. Animals were here long before us, they should not suffer due to man-made injustice. Humans need to stop being selfish and showing such disrespect to animals. Just because they can't speak in the way we can , they have ZERO right to hurt them, starve them or do anything to them. Humans need to stop being idiots and take a stand against this.

Let's take a stand and firmly insist that animal cruelty, in all its forms, be recognized and addressed globally. Sign the petition now and let your voice be a saving grace for these innocent animals. End animal cruelty now and demand respect for all living beings!

Why the hell do animals need to get hurt on the daily and every 60 seconds just so some stupid humans can "clear the streets" or get rid of the "nuisance". ANIMALS DESERVE BETTER.
