Many students and staff across MCPS have complained about advisory. It is extremely pointless, and the majority of students don't do the activities provided. During advisory time, students could be doing much more useful things such as getting help from teachers, having mental heath breaks, having extra lesson plan + grading time (teachers), and being active. 

Instead of simply ending advisory, we can compromise and make advisory optional twice a week with the opportunity to earn SSL hours. We can also agree to have 1-2 mandatory advisory sessions per month.
