NY Passed a WEAK 911 Bill. We Want REAL a 911 Anti-Discrimination Bill

We reject fake reforms!
We reject the recent 911 bill that makes politicians feel good, but which does NOTHING to solve the problem.
Amy Cooper deserves criminal penalties, not a ticket!
New York passed the so-called "Amy Cooper" bill, but it will do NOTHING to prevent someone from abusing 911 as a weapon of intimidation. The NY Assembly thought it was a good idea to make the victim of an abusive 911 call be responsible for suing their victimizer in court. Do you think victims have hundreds or a few thousand dollars lying around to sue people like Amy Cooper? She has money for a lawyer, these victims often do not.
The NY Assembly thinks that the worst punishment Amy Cooper should get for a bigoted use of police resources is a ticket. REALLY?
My bill proposed CRIMINAL PENALTIES. People like Amy Cooper are using the threat of violence with a possibility of death for African Americans and other victims. They use police resources for private purposes, which is more serious than, say, a parking ticket. The criminal justice system should be responsible for prosecuting this.
My bill gives people like Amy Cooper a permanent criminal record. That would provide a deterrent.
Tell Albany o do better! This new law does NOTHING. We need to pass A3566 NOW! I introduced it two years ago. Did they think we didn't notice?
Justice delayed is Justice Denied. We Want Action now!
