As you’ve noticed the LNP won the Queensland Election, but due to several of their candidates political baggage as well as abortion being a last minute issue resulted in them underperforming in the electorates of Brisbane.
it also lead to the revelation of independent candidate [for the seat of Lytton] Craig Moore of being a convicted R*pist which the LNP put as their 2nd preference before it came to light but it doesn’t stop there, 9 months prior to the state election Mr Moore was given an award by the Lord Mayor of Brisbane himself Adrian Schrinner.

This resulted in Schrinner propping up Moore for the Local Election later that year  making him a spoiler candidate in the Wynnum Manly Ward which resulted in the LNP winning the ward from Labor.

while this may not seem like a big deal to some of you, this isn’t the 1st time that Schrinner’s been a poor judge of character (see Alexander Brock for Deagon).
