Thank You – And Let’s Keep the Good Work Going!

First, I want to sincerely thank you for supporting the petition to encourage the City of Lawrenceville to consider alternative sites for the new Wastewater Treatment Plant. While the City Council ultimately voted to proceed with the old LHS site, your voice helped make this a more transparent and better-informed process.
Today, I’m launching a new petition to build on that progress and push for greater accountability in our local government.
It’s called the “Plan to Improve Government Transparency & Public Access”—and it calls on the City Council to take four simple, low-cost steps:
✅ Livestream and archive all city council meetings
✅ Post contact info for elected officials (who receive taxpayer-funded phone allowances)
✅ Publish meeting agendas online at least 48 hours in advance
✅ Encourage more public input and promote meetings on social media
These are common-sense reforms that would benefit every resident of Lawrenceville—whether they can attend meetings in person or not.

Your support made a difference last time—let’s keep pushing for a more transparent, responsive, and community-focused city government.
Thank you again,
Louie Campbell
