As deeply concerned citizens, we have felt the brunt of polarization and political extremism that has been rocking our nation in recent years. This petition aims to convince Jon Stewart, an avid advocate for the rights of Americans and first responders, to run for President in the forthcoming 2028 elections. Jon Stewart, throughout his tenure on "The Daily Show" and in his personal life, demonstrated a deep understanding of our nation's challenges along with a flair for insightful and compassionate commentary. His efforts to pass the 9/11 First Responders bill demonstrated his dedication to Americans who often are overlooked, (source: CBS News, 2019).
