I almost cried with happiness when I read the attached article this morning.

and the thousands of others who have for decades asked, campaigned and lobbied for this!
To all that signed my petition THANK YOU THANK YOU. Your voices and those of other accessibility advocates were heard by Airbus.
A special shoutout to non-profit All Wheels Up who have lead the charge in recent times for accessibility by safety testing wheelchair spot seating restraints and systems.
This is truly a historic time for accessible travel especially as it was done without any Government regulation required.
BUT let’s not rest on this, we now have to ensure all airlines adopt this and other aircraft manufactures follow suit, some hopefully with an earlier implementation date.
