Petition To Continue
Kelly Otberg has been named as the new CEO for Boeing.
He replaces Dave Calhoun, who has had a troubled few years being head of a company that faced considerable pressure and lost reputation and money with several serious and tragic mechanical and structural failures.
Calhoun was also the one our petition for Boeing to make accessibility a standard feature on all new and refurbished aircraft, working in conjunction with relevant aviation companies and organisations lobbying for air travel accessibility, was addressed to.
On being sent the petition, he issued a statement which said Boeing took accessibility seriously, but would not commit to providing a timeline for its implementation. (https://www.issuewire.com/boeing-ceo-commits-to-accessibility-1772981182954330
Our petition to Boeing will continue until the company provides a timeline for accessibility implementation, with the only change being Otberg will now be its respondent.
Please keep passing on the petition to others, encouraging them to sign and support it.
Thank You
Pekka Paavonpera.
