Hello Petition Supporters:

Firstly many thanks for signing the petition encouraging Boeing Co and Airbus to make all future and refurbished aircraft accessible.

if you could pass on the petition to contacts and social media followers/friends that would be fantastic.

We ( I use we because we are all pushing for aircraft accessibility) wrote to the CEO’s of Airbus and Boeing Co this week with a copy of the petition (even though they get regular updates when there are more signatures recorded) asking them to comment on the petition and their intentions of accessibility as asked for in the petition. 

You have most probably seen in the media and online, news about possible legislation being introduced in Great Britain and the United States, on airline accessibility, but my question is why is legislation needed? Why don’t airlines and aircraft manufactures introduce accessibility without being forced to ? Also how long will the legislative process take? 

I will keep you informed on progress.
