📢 Enable E-FIR in All States – Justice at One Click!

The Issue

Filing a First Information Report (FIR) is the first step toward justice, but in many states across India, this process is still complicated and inaccessible.

Citizens often face refusal or delay at police stations.
Victims of domestic violence, theft, harassment, or cybercrime hesitate to approach the police due to fear or social pressure.
Migrants and students living away from their home state cannot easily file complaints.
Some states have started offering E-FIR (online FIR) facilities, but this is not available uniformly across the country. Every Indian citizen deserves the right to register an FIR online without barriers, no matter which state they belong to.

Why This Matters:
✅ Transparency – Reduces corruption and refusal to register complaints.
✅ Accessibility – Citizens can file complaints anytime, anywhere.
✅ Safety – Especially helps women, senior citizens, and vulnerable groups.
✅ Speed – Faster registration leads to faster investigation.

Justice should not depend on your geography. Every state must provide this facility.

What We’re Demanding:
We urge the Government of India and all State Governments & Police Departments to:

Introduce a nationwide E-FIR system, integrated with state police.
Allow online registration for specific categories of crimes (e.g., theft, missing persons, lost documents, cybercrime, domestic violence, etc.).
Ensure tracking, acknowledgment, and updates via SMS/email.
Train police staff nationwide to handle E-FIRs promptly and responsibly.

Call to Action:
Sign this petition to demand E-FIR in all states of India.
Let’s make justice accessible at one click — for every Indian, everywhere.
