Enable Animal Lovers to Feed, Shelter and Neuter Stray Cats in Fort Drum

The Issue

As people who have always held a deep affection for animals, we were shocked and saddened to discover the large number of cats abandoned and left fending for themselves in Fort Drum upon our arrival. This situation is dire and can no longer be ignored as the stray cat population has recently doubled.

Understanding the role these cats play in our local ecosystem, particularly in controlling the mouse population, our group wishes to properly care for these cats through the implementation of a Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program. Our campaign aims to get these cats fixed, fed and released back to their natural environment to keep the rodent population down, while ensuring they lead healthy lives in a safer environment.

Unfortunately, without the permission and cooperation of Fort Drum officials, our operation cannot commence. Cats left behind do not have to live in fear. Let's act now to ensure their wellbeing and balance in our local environment.

Your signature on this petition will send a clear message to Fort Drum officials - we demand they allow our group to provide needed sustenance, shelter, and spay/neuter services for the local cat population. Weald the time to make a difference for these forgotten felines. Sign this petition and say yes to a healthier, balanced ecosystem.
