In light of the devastation in Haiti, let us not ever forget that it was colonization and ravenous infiltrating of foreign lands that led us here in the first place. France imposing the payment of over 20 billion dollars on Haiti for the recognition of it's freedom, even after Haiti won their revolution against France, to liberate human beings from enslavement and bondage was the catalyst for the economic demise of this Black sovereignty. Haiti was the first country to abolish slavery which influenced the liberation of many Latin countries and shifted the death of humanity all over the world, stained in the bloody barbarity of slavery.

If Haiti did not revolt and up rise against enslavement and abolish slavery first, what would have been our fate now? We must speak up for Haiti because Haiti spoke up for the world and humanity by abolishing slavery and allowing Haiti to remain as the sacrificial lambs shows how deep that we still lie in the belly of the beast known as colonization.
