Yesterday afternoon an SUV was speeding down our street. He was texting with no seat belt on and had dropped something on the floorboard. While attempting to pick it up he stepped on the gas and crashed into our two cars parked in front of our house. He was going so fast that when he hit Michaels car it smashed into Robins crushing his bumper and trunk. It pushed both cars a full car length forward! He also turned his wheel on impact which made him front roll his car onto its right side. He was an uninsured driver, leaving all the damages to our insurance companies. This also happened during school hours! Little children were playing outside in the courtyard across the street. I am still advocating my petition for speed bumps on Bellaire Ave. This is now the third parked car accident on our street and something needs to be done. I NEED more signatures. PLEASE sign and share to friends and family. My goal is to approach our city council by the beginning of next year.
