Perhaps you have taken note of the current media coverage in Germany, which now also deals with the topic of personal CO2 budgets. The discussion was stimulated by the TV magazin PANORAMA "The Climate and the Rich" in which an interview was shown with Professor Schellnhuber, who has been pursuing this thesis for effective emissions reduction for some time. Professor Schellnhuber is former director of the climate impact research institute PIK in Potsdam and is one of the world's most renowned climate experts.

Through our book publication "Exit-strategy climate currency ECO, achieving the climate target with personal emissions budgets" he became aware of our further development of the principle "Personal Carbon Trading" and invited us to a personal meeting. At this meeting he promised us his support to bring the concept further into a public and political debate.

It is a great step to further expand our network and make valuable contacts that can give even more voice and importance to this social and equitable, but most importantly, effective solution approach to reduce emissions.
