Petition updateEmergency UN Resolution to Help Protesters in IranUrgent Action and Policy Change to Stop the Bloodshed in Iran

While the U.N.’s top human rights body will hold a special session on Iran in the week of Nov 21, the efficacy of these initiatives remains unclear in light of the fact that, unlike condemnations and sanctions, impactful actions and policy changes have been scarce. For instance, G7 is yet to expel diplomats of Iran's outlaw regime, and key governments, including Canada, are yet to add the child-killer IRGC to the list of terrorist organizations. Meanwhile, Iran is moving fast to charge detainees with accusations that could result in the death penalty. Among those charged are the first journalists who drew public attention to Mahsa-Jina Amini’s death, Nilufar Hamedi and Elahe Mohammadi.

Amid these developments, it is more critical than ever that we amplify the voice of the people of Iran and demand nothing short of: stopping the crackdowns and arrests, releasing all detainees, and holding the outlaw regime accountable for its countless and ongoing crimes.
