Stop the slaughter and put an immediate end to all ivory and rhino horn trade
The issue
One elephant is killed every 15 minutes for their tusks and one rhino is slaughtered every 9 to 11 hours for their horn. At this rate, both species could be extinct in just two decades.
Mothers, babies and whole families being killed as well as rangers and mahouts for the appalling ivory trade.
We can stop these senseless murders by raising our voices as one and shutting down this industry.
Their only hope for survival lies in an immediate end to the ivory and rhino horn trade - both 'legal' and 'illegal'
Unless action is taken now, we will lose these majestic, highly intelligent, and emotionally sentient creatures forever.
Spread the word, sign the petition and join the march on October 4 to show governments that we won't stand for these crimes and murders any longer.
1. We want Global awareness that governments around the world need to apply political will and leadership to put an end to wildlife trafficking.
2. For all countries to implement a complete ban on commercial international and domestic trade of all endangered wildlife body parts, including ivory, rhino horn, lion and tiger bone.
3. All countries to shut down retail outlets for ivory and horn and to shut down industries associated with processing these (such as ivory-carving factories).
4. Please help us make this change and save lives that are being needlessly stolen that we cannot replace.
If you are in Victoria/Melbourne Australia and feel for these beautiful animals, please show you care and come along to the Global March for Elephants and Rhinos, on Sunday October 4th, all the details are on Facebook: -
