Hi It is four and a half years since I started this petition. From time to time I have been in discussion with people on Embarcadero to find a solution to revive Bold. The big problem have been IP (Intellectual Property) of Bold. Recently two things have changed in Embarcadero 1. Idera owns Embarcadero 2. Nick Hodge is new Product Manager Both seems to be positive for this issue. They ask me if I know any company or people still using Bold. I know only two except my own employer. So I ask the community for help about this. I want you to answer on those questions: 1. Suppose Bold was available for latest Delphi version with full source. Would that make you buy new or upgrade license for Delphi ? In that case what amount ? 2. What is the prefered option for Bold source ? - Opensource with no support from Embarcadero. Changes is done by community. - Source tied to license like VCL. Changes is done by Embarcadero. My choice for source is opensource because updates and bugfixing would be much easier. And honestly I believe community have better knowledge about Bold than Embarcadero staff. But feel free to disagree :) Regards Roland Bengtsson
