Thanks to your continued presence and persistence, the growing opposition to the development of 222 Church Road is in the news:https://whyy.org/articles/cheltenham-housing-development-flood-plain-pushback/

Many people who wanted to attend last week's Public Works meeting were unable to join the Zoom, which the township had limited to 100 attendees. You can find the recording of the entire meeting here:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OgbsJ2zMdv0&t=4249s

The commissioners seemed worried about the obvious environmental impact of the development and its failure to comply with the SALDO. However, after pressure from the applicant's lawyer and warnings from the township solicitor that the applicant could sue if they didn't approve, they voted to recommend the development for conditional approval. 

The final vote to approve or deny will take place on April 20, nine days from now. If you're concerned about this decision and its impact on all of us, please contact the commissioners again and tell them to vote no. They were elected to protect us, and they have the power to stop this development before it's too late.
