�Action is desperately needed NOW for law to protect employees from workplace bullying in Nova Scotia! There are too many places for toxic employers to hide behind the lack of laws! We are stronger together and I know there are so many of you that have experienced a similar work environment. 

CEO Elizabeth Murphy with Nova Scotia SPCA needs to FIRE the bully at Kings branch in Waterville NS & it's no secret anymore how that supervisor(vet tech) there has mistreated staff for years! To tell you the truth the CEO herself has been a victim of workplace bullying herself, so you'd think she'd be empathetic to the rest of us but apparently not! The remaining staff are fearful for their jobs therefore they continue to put up with the lies and excuses, however I've personally witnessed them being bullied as well. I worry about them but it's up to them to stand up for themselves.

AND ultimately the animals in care will suffer because staff are anxious, 'walking on eggshells', keeping secrets, being bullied and afraid! 

So....please don't be afraid to speak out to your JOSH committee, HR personnel or managers, if they aren't part of the problem, and REPORT harassment and bullying! Insist on an investigation! Speak to your Dr! Email me! You're not alone and one day this awful mistreatment of each other will end!
