So on Sat Apr 27/19, me, myself and I stood in the pouring rain right outside the Annual General Meeting of the NSSPCA, for rally #1, from 9am-12:30pm, with six blunt signs for all to see; including NSSPCA board members, the public and CEO Elizabeth Murphy.
Even though I was a lone soldier that day I am NOT alone in support as well as having suffered as a former employee of the society and I did NOT go unnoticed!
CEO Elizabeth Murphy (with Heather Woodin) asked to speak to me during my time rallying. Long story short, nothing was accomplished from my listening to her endless excuses! She told me that my 'whistle blowing' reports were investigated (sure they were) & there was no bullying Nova Scotia SPCA - Kings Shelter. Well that's just total BULL & they were also going to hire me back this spring. HA! I wouldn't be caught dead giving them any more of my dedication, after how I've been treated; not to mention how I've witnessed them treating my former co-workers! They're simply full of lies and excuses!
She also told me (regarding my lay off) that other staff had multiple roles in the SPCA, like at the New Minas thrift store, (an excuse for why was it me) so I asked why wasn't ***** laid off & they couldn't answer me; just said this has nothing to do with her! So full of it!
I told them how I knew about Kristin Schofield, the bully & Kings vet tech, just wanted ME gone & Elizabeth claimed no, if that had even been suggested it wouldn't have happened like that BUT that's exactly why it was me, simply cuz Kristin wanted it; I was/am a whistleblower.
Elizabeth again mentioned 'well there was a 25% decrease in animal intakes', blah, blah, blah...I didn't even let her finish that sentence.
I also asked how can Kristin Schofield still have a job! She said she spoke to staff, at Kings shelter, and no one said anything about bullying, so apparently it didn't happen. She assured me she'd never let that happen if she thought it were true. I told her that they were lying because it DID happen & they all know it & are scared to say so & end up fired! I then said 'I'm done, walked away & went back to my rally. What nonsense out of the NSSPCA CEOs mouth!
This is NOT over! I will NOT stop until the bully is fired!
